Referee announced for Barrow fixture

Referee Christopher Pollard has been appointed to officiate tonight's National League fixture at home to Barrow (7.45pm kick-off).

Pollard has been a National League level referee since the beginning of this season, although he did referee one National League fixture in 2014.

The Suffolk-based official has also operated as an assistant referee and a fourth official in the Football League.

The only game he has refereed so far this season was Bromley vs Eastleigh on the opening day, handing out two yellow cards in what was a 0-0 draw.

Pollard will be a new face to both Solihull Moors and Barrow, having never refereed a fixture involving either side.

The referee's assistants for the fixture will be Robert Evans and Robin Cox with Edward Turner operating as the fourth official.
